Running on a treadmill is a great way to exercise. While running outdoors is still the preferred way of exercising for most runners, running on a treadmill has advantages. For one a treadmill makes you independent from weather conditions and you can put in a quality run at any time of the day (or night). A treadmill run is also less taxing on your knees or your joints. A treadmill run also helps to run more consistent as it is easier to control the speed and a possible incline angle.
But can a treadmill run help you to get a flat stomach? Running is considered a cardio exercise. It offers certain health benefits. Running is also a workout that allows you to burn more fat in a comparable time with other workouts. However, as with any workout our bodies get smarter and smarter over time.
